Driver Recruiting Manager - US

JOB SUMMARY

The Driver Recruiting Manager is responsible for driving the performance and production of the recruiting team! This is accomplished through planning, organizing, directing growth of our driver pool, and assisting in retention strategies. The DRM will provide new, creative solutions, methods, and programs to keep pace with the marketplace, the needs of drivers, and align with Merx Global’s fleet expansion plan. The DRM will address issues, build trust and confidence, and establish open lines of communication to maintain positive relationships with our prospective drivers.
This position will require a strategic focus with strengths in project management and business development. We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, creativity, and excellent problem-solving skills. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, coaching, and performance management skills, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a multi-tasking environment.
Finally, this position requires related experience in the trucking and mobile logistics industry, strong computer skills, progressive knowledge of the transportation industry, and experience managing recruiting or sales personnel.
