Merx Global started operations with just one tractor and one driver. The two co-founders were trying to help themselves with tuition costs for college, and instead of waiting tables or bartending decided to start a trucking operation based on their recent short term experience in the industry.

While in school the two brothers were able to grow the company to 25 trucks and survived the great recession of 2009 by putting long hours and a lot of effort to sustain the business.

The company operates close to 300 trucks and 500 trailers and employees close to 400 employees across all divisions, establishing Merx Global as a leading mid size transportation carrier in the Midwest with outstanding reputation and impeccable service.
