Job Summary:

Location: Office Ruse, Bulgaria

Merx Global is looking for a Driver Processor to work in our Corporate Office in Ruse. As a Driver Processor, you will be a key player in our dynamic recruiting team, ensuring every candidate meets Merx Global's high standarts to qualify as a Truck Driver. From reviewing applications to conducting thorough background checks, you will collaborate closely with our recruiters and safety team to uphold excellence on the road.

Qualifications we are looking for

  • Degree in transportation or logistics preferred but not required
  • Experience in the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry is a plus
  • Ability to compile reports
  • Experience or knowledge with CRM Systems is a plus
  • Experience with auditing or examining data to arrive at an informed decision

  • Review and process driver applications to ensure completeness and compliance with
    company standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive background checks for eligible candidates including but not
    limited to USIS DAC Services, PSP, MVR, and Criminal.
  • Analyze background report documents to assess candidate eligibility for hire.
  • Coordinate closely with Driver Recruiter to communicate candidate hiring status.
  • Communicate with Driver Candidates to gather additional information, clarify
    discrepancies, and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with Safety personnel to obtain Verification of Employment (VOE) Status and
    reports.
  • Update candidate application based on thorough review of VOE documents.
  • Maintain accurate records in TenStreet to reflect candidate status and received documents
    for hire eligibility.
  • Consult with Safety personnel to resolve any questionable background report findings.
  • Provide timely updates to the Recruiting team on final determinations of candidate
    eligibility.
  • Arrange travel logistics for new hires.
  • Prepare and submit weekly status reports to HR.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with office personnel and driver
    candidates.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex reports and documents effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in applicant
    infromation.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to make informed decisions based on audit
    findings.
